I am in love with food.
Love it. I am not the best cook, but I manage preparing meals for my daughters every lunch. Here in Switzerland children come home to eat at lunchtime and then go back to school in the afternoon, so I got to be organized and think ahead (that might be the subject for another post).
It is really hard for me to not eat when there is good food on the table. But I still lost 10kg (about 22pounds) at the end of 2014. Those were left overs from having my 3rd baby at the beginning of January 2014. Unfortunately, I gained back 3kg (6.5lbs) so I am working on loosing now.
Many people asked me how I did it.
Well no carbs basically. No added sugar, even in my decaf in the morning, which (if you know me, I love my coffee) was pretty much the hardest in the process.
And now comes the phase of loosing those last 10 pounds….
I started exercising regularly again, a healthy thing to do. I drink hot water in the morning. I replace pasta with quinoa and desert with fruits.
Another solution is to try of few recipes from Chef Chloe Coscarelli, (see her interview on Marie TV) vegan chef, winner of the Cupcake war, featured in many different shows. She looks so good, skinny, and healthy and she is so friendly, open, not an extremist vegan at all; she makes me want to try it.
Next Step: download the recipes, buy the ingredients, and I’ll try this weekend my first vegan meal or day maybe. I’ll let you know in a couple of month if I lost the last 10 pounds.
Let me know what you do to maintain your weight, keep healthy or loose weight?
