Bio of the artist
Born in Switzerland, Robin de Haas feels a passion for singing at an early age. Winner of several awards, he began singing studies at the end of his gymnasium studies. He immediately received a scholarship and advanced with several professors in Europe and U.S.A such as Kurt Widmer, Anne Ramoni, or Conrad Osbourne. Attracted by pedagogy, he began training “Diploma of Teaching Singing” at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne, in the classes of Mrs. Brigitte Balleys and Erika Bill; training he finishes with a prize for his diploma work “Lyric song & Modern song, two worlds that everything opposes?”.
Passionate about vocal technique and research, he collaborates with many teachers, choreographers, therapists, phonographs, to define the tools available to the singer and the teacher who accompanies him to develop a unique voice, healthy, durable, authentic and stylistically adapted.
As part of his research for the methodology and pedagogy modules, he met Lynn Martin, Professor of Respiratory Coordination and Functional Anatomy at NYU (New York University), and Spencer Welch, a vocal teacher specializing in technique for modern singing. Which led to a fruitful collaboration whose goal is the liberation of accessory tensions, and the realization of the vocal and artistic potential. He is the Co – creator of the MDH breathing coordination program.

In this episode Robin talks about the experiences in his life that lead him to finding his purpose in breathing coordination. He believes that the tools that people need are within themselves and when they come they figure out what was missing all along.
